Copyrights and Trademarks

All text, images (unless otherwise indicated), on its website, discussion forum, and newsletters are protected by United States copyright laws, and are owned by Scout HTML, unless it has been indicated that it was supplied by a contributor; in which case the copyright belongs to that contributor.

Privacy Policy

We value your privacy at Scout HTML, and would like to assure you that any information sent directly to us will not be sold to any third-party. This information includes those submitted for newsletters, site registration, and discussion boards.

Scout HTML uses counter software to find the amount of visitors using each section and article. The counter software does not take any information; just the fact that someone has visited the page.

Scout HTML uses cookies for those who have registered with the website, and the discussion forum. These cookies are used to keep you logged in, and do not keep information, except for your assigned user id.

We try to keep the information we require at a minimum, and most of our registrations only require a name (which may be an alias, if you desire), email, and password field. In the password fields, you do not have to supply any password that you have already registered with somewhere else.

However, any information that is on the public website, including names and email addresses, may be picked up by robots, and we are not responsible or liable for any damage resulting from that.

Your subscription information to the newsletter may only be accessed by authorized staff of Scout HTML, and will not be sold or otherwise redistributed to any third-party company without your prior consent.

Scout HTML also does not knowingly take information from children under 13 without permission from a parent or legal guardian. If we find that information that has been submitted is of someone under 13, we will remove it immediately.
